Description: The Leslieville Food & Drink Festival brought art, music, food and drink together, while supporting our vibrant community! This all-East side event, an initiative of Vandenberg House & Eastside Events Inc., supported and promoted dozens of local businesses and the community at large. Toronto Food Tours were back at the festival again with their delicious demos and samples of delicate flavours and carefully constructed dishes. Greta Solomon's, Murphy's Law, Kaboom Chicken and AAA Pub stocked festival-goers with tastings that showcased each of their specialties.
Hundreds of people made their way to District 28 for a day of indulging in the tastiest cuisine east of the Don River, sip wines and local brews, and taste the finest cuisine that East side restaurants have to offer. Breweries: Eastbound, Rorschach, Left Field and Louis Cifer poured samples of their diverse brews that are putting the East side on the map as a destination for beer lovers. Toronto artist, Tom Pashkov, displayed his eclectic, abstract, colourful canvases, as well as clean black and white illustrations reminiscent of tattoo art.
This was the third year for the Leslieville Food + Drink Festival, and second year supporting Michael Garron Hospital through silent auction fundraising at the event.
Thanks to Frank McKinney & Sandra Strangemore for the fantastic event photography!
